If you find it necessary to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we are more than willing to accommodate your request, provided that you provide us with a minimum notice of 48 hours. Please be aware that failing to provide a 48-hour notice or not attending a scheduled appointment will result in a 'cancelled or late payment fee.' In most cases, the deposit collected will be allocated toward covering the ongoing operational costs incurred by our team and the facility.

For appointments lasting one hour or longer, a minimum fee of £65 per missed hour will apply. If the initial deposit exceeds this amount, any surplus will be offset. Conversely, if the deposit falls short of this sum, the outstanding balance will be required.

The fee structure typically corresponds to the appointment duration and is subject to Smilestone's discretion.

We have a practice of reaching out to patients through phone or written communication following a missed appointment. This is done to understand the circumstances surrounding the absence and to inform patients of any associated fees or decisions related to their dental care.

We understand that cancellations may occasionally be necessary due to illness or unforeseen emergencies, and we take such situations into consideration. In cases of exceptional circumstances, patients have the option to discuss the cancellation charge with our Practice Manager.
